I am a motivated and skilled environmentalist, grant writer, and consultant, able to raise high-dollar funds in support of innovative programming and special initiatives; engage in effective public outreach and membership coordination; and employ critical thinking as a means to help build organizational capacity and efficacy.
As a committed development officer, I believe that positive and lasting change cannot be bought; it must be earned. If you or your organization is looking for a detail-oriented consultant, a self-starter, and a persuasive spokesperson—with superb writing skills and ample experience in fundraising and community engagement—I am a strong candidate.
Over the last ten years, I have specialized in grant research and proposal writing, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for a variety of social, scientific, environmental, educational, and public health non-profits -- and in support of a diverse array of programs, operations, and special initiatives.
Past and current clients include medical societies; a private non-profit school for students with special needs; multiple municipalities; a business council; two nature centers; a sustainable business association; various arts and cultural centers; music education programs; a museum; two colleges and one university; farms; a community foundation; and environmental advocates at the local and state levels.
I have submitted three total SBIR Phase 1 Project Pitches and full proposals, two of which were successful.
