Robert has over thirty years of business experience, both as an owner and Business Analyst. He has worked for over ten years for the Small Business Development Center in Cochise County advising a variety of businesses that include both startups and mature businesses. He has also worked for the Arizona Procurement and Technical Assistance Center as a counselor and business analyst with a focus on government contracting.
He is considered to be a SBIR/STTR subject matter expert for the Technical Assistance Center and has counseled clients in applying to these programs:
· The National Science Foundation (NSF)
· The National Institute of Health (NIH)
· The Air Force AFWERX program
· The Navy SBIR program
· The Department of Energy SBIR Programs
Robert is a trainer and seminar presenter for the University Of Arizona, Center for Innovation. He is a reference and subject matter expert for SIBR/STTR applicants that are referred through Maricopa College Center for Entrepreneurial Innovations.
Prior to working for Cochise and Maricopa College, he worked for ten years for the Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office, District of Utah and Carrix Corporation a worldwide multi modal transportation corporation as a Department Manager.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, School of Natural Resources and the University of Utah, Master of Public Administration with a Master of Public Administration degree and owns rmucciconsulting, specializing in SBIR/STTR applications and government contracting.
